NOAA Fisheries Southeast recently announced the introduction of a new Text Message Alert Program. The program allows stakeholders to sign up to receive important fishery related alerts via text message.
Text alerts are expected to include immediate fishery openings and closures, and any significant changes to fishing regulations that happen quickly.
Participants can opt in to one or more of the following groups. Standard message & data rates may apply. Participants may opt-out at any time, according to NOAA.
